What you KNEAD to know about our breads and pastries... We only use the freshest ingredients (no preservatives), therefore our products are fragile. Cakes and pastries should be refrigerated in the box or in an air-tight container until served. We recommend that all PROOF products be enjoyed on the day of purchase. Please do not store our breads in the refrigerator, it stales quicker because of the drier air; room temperature is preferred. The crust of bread is a natural protective cover that seals in freshness, so use paper bags for storing to help maintain a crispy crust. Plastic can be used if you prefer a softer crust. Always allow bread to cool before bagging it. Condensation will form and make the loaf soggy, so wait until it is cold! For "refreshing" our bread, we recommend the oven and never the microwave. Simply wrap the loaf in foil and place in a 375 degree oven for about 5 minutes. Remove foil and brush with a little water, return to the oven for another minute to result in a crisp crust.
